ReplyDeleteYeah! I really dig White a lot more than ever after seeing This Might Get Loud. He's the real deal. Two observations, though. Seems out of character for him to use a teleprompter but I guess when you are standing three feet from the Prez you just might get nervous. Also, doesn't he look a little like a 2009-era Michael Jackson in this video?
ReplyDeleteI agree that he's starting to look a bit like the king of pop... It's a sweet version, probably could only be improved if "little Jack White" from it might get loud was sitting in...or maybe Clinton improvising along on a soprano sax...nice post sean -the outlaw
ReplyDeleteHe is the biggest and possibly only real rock star out there anymore. Only Jack would have the balls to play this acoustic two feet away from Paul and Obama. He's on a short list of must see if he's within 100 miles.

I think you're right, DDerek. I just love the fact that his guitar is slightly out of tune and he chooses to throw a bit of "That Would Be Something" from Macca's first solo album in the mix. The second Dead Weather album is worth checking out. He's an above average drummer..real surprise. He and Josh Homme are the busiest guys out there.
