Paul Stanley : Fruit and Nuts

If you have seven minutes and you hate kiss...then I have the video for you. Paul Stanley and some of the most obnoxious stage banter you have ever heard..and some great youtube editing as well. I've got news for you..kiss was not an influence on anything(not even make up,Alice Cooper beat them to it) except for endless greed and limp dick rock. If you have every kiss greatest hits album (There are 6 or 7), think Gene Simmons is talented and humble, and know the tracklist for the Peter Criss solo LP...maybe you ought to sit this one out. This one should make you SSIK!

  1. You would need a machete to cut through the banality of that banter...

  2. I hate Kiss, so it was seven minutes well spent.

  3. I am going to pass on the video for now but I have never like KISS, other than a few fun songs. My sister loves them. Gene Simmons makes my skin crawl, just looking at him make me want to take a shower and disinfect myself.

  4. Its funny how history is kinder to some bands than others. I think when boomers hear their songs these days they get all hyped up like they were the best thing that ever happened. I can tell you that I was majorly anti-Kiss back when. I loathed the song Beth. What a choker. Thanks for the confirmation.

  5. I'll skip the banter too myself. I have a few Kiss bootlegs and I find the banter quite annoying. Growing up, I was a die hard Kiss fan. I was in jr. high-what the heck did I know? They served a gateway for me to listen to better bands like Led Zeppelin

I agree. Kiss was a gateway band that lead to harder bands. I don't regret loving them when I was 10 years old. They lead me to The Who.

  7. Their best lyric is "Lick it Up, Lick it Up..Ohhh, ohh, ohhh."

  8. Ace Frehley = lots and lots of guitar players. He made thousands of kids pick up the guitar. As for this video, it's hilarious! Paul Stanley needs to shut it!

  9. Absolutely hysterical. But I didn't seem to see any editing. I've seen Kiss twice in concert and I would swear that was what he said on stage, word for word. All at once. On and on . . .

Pauls scripted banter is and has always been over the top. (PEEEEEEEPPPPLE) You know what I'm talking about. But, it's what make us fans love him and its funny mostly, espeically with that nasal NY accent. What can you do though, except turn it UUUUUUUUUUUUP!
